Melting in Benxi

Visited the Dam at Benxi, and like most things here it's not built to last.

 The Project was finished in 1995, they've built a huge monument to celebrate mans triumph over nature (It's already falling apart !), and they opened a visitor centre (which is derelict !).

 Glad I don't live downstream from the Dam ;-)

2-accidents in 2-weeks !

 Went into the back of a small truck in an attempt to avoid a total wipe-out -NOT MY FAULT !

Run-away street cleaner's 3-wheeler drifted into my lane off the footpath -Cleaner no where to be seen !

'Importing' my iMac from Hong Kong

Paid 750GBP in Hong Kong so saved around 300GBP, but not sure if I'd do it again !
Not the easiest thing to lug thro' customs and had several anxious hours waiting to see if it survived the trip in the hold !

Boat ride around Aberdeen Harbour, Hong Kong

100 HK Dollars for a 20 minute trip around the harbour.  Floating city definitely worth a look, even when it's 104 degrees !
